JAM Wins USAID’s Water Secure World Photo Contest

JAM was recently nominated in the Top Overall category for USAID’s Water Secure World Photo Contest, thanks to the winning image taken by Clint Still.

Titled, ‘In Angola, There’s Magic In The Water’, the photo was taken after Mbovo Village in Angola received its first water pump, which saves them hours walking to contaminated water sources. The palpable joy expressed by the villagers in the image serves as a reminder not to take water for granted.

In Africa, JAM’s Water, Sanitation And Hygiene programme continues to bring safe water and hope to hundreds of thousands of communities.
