It may be different – but you can still give hope this Christmas!
Christmas is a special time of giving, sharing and caring, not only for the ones we love the most but also to the most vulnerable, at-risk and those in need. There are thousands of severely malnourished children in Africa that need urgent food and lifesaving treatment. We have an opportunity to extend our love and give them hope this Christmas.
Every £5 donated to JAM will help us feed a child for a month. £200 can save the life of a severely malnourished child through JAM’s intervention and intensive treatment programmes.
Help us fill up these red bowls
We are aiming to raise £50,000 to feed
10,000 children this Christmas.
Hope in a red bowl
Help severely food-insecure children and their families this Christmas. A one-off donation helps us fill up
a tummy. A recurring donation ensures a tummy stays full!

Why not become a JAMbassador and help raise funds over the festive season for us.
How do you celebrate Christmas? Baking Cakes? Making Cards? Christmas Karaoke? Secret Santa? This Christmas may look different to last year’s, but however you spend it, you can still give hope in a red bowl even if your fundraising is entirely online. Get your school, community group, colleagues, family or friends together and involved.
Whether you already have an event in mind or need tips or ideas, partner with JAM this Christmas and you’ll have everything you need to make your event a success while changing and saving lives!
The JAM PACK is jam-packed (excuse the pun) with ideas, tips and tools like Facebook profile filters, JAM recipes, Zoom backgrounds, a Festive Quiz and content to share on social media to make your online event Christmassy and fun! It also contains a ‘How to guide’ for setting up a fundraising page. We know that this year, holding an event might not be something everyone can do. So if you’re not able to take part, you can still give hope by donating.
Here are a few ideas to get you started.
Christmas window dressing showdown
Invite friends, family, colleagues, and
neighbours to decorate their windows
with festive displays, with a small
donation to take part. Share them with
us and each other on Social Media.
Advent walk, run or cycle challenge
Get sponsored to walk, run, or cycle a
set distance each day during Advent. A
fundraising page is a perfect place to
raise support, while you prepare and
stay fit for a Mine Pie feast.
Master Chef / Bake-off from home anyone?
Propose a Christmas bake-off – baking
festive goodies in your kitchen with
your household. With a donation to
take part, share your creation (before
it disappears!) with us and each other
on social media.
Christmas squats, push-ups or burpees for JAM
How many squats, push-ups or
burpees can you do in a row? Set
yourself a target and ask people to
sponsor you for JAM. Maybe a group
of you compete to see who can do the
most, film yourselves and post online.
Zoom Christmas quiz or Karaoke contest
Take part in an online Christmas
karaoke or test your knowledge and
get competitive with a Christmas quiz
on Zoom between friends and family.
Ask for a donation per team and let
the battle commence!
Zoom pizza and Christmas movie night
Invite everyone to join you on Zoom
for a Christmas movie night. Each
household chooses and starts a film
simultaneously to enjoy together.
Don’t forget to donate and order your
